This project provides a finished surface on the trail in the vicinity of Hooks Station. The growing group of volunteers continues to extend the finished trail. This section goes from Grays Eddy to north of Hooks Station, bringing the trail closer to the mouth of Redbank Creek, where it will eventually connect with the Redbank Valley Trail. The grant from the Trail Volunteer Fund supports purchase of limestone trail surfacing material to be installed by volunteers on the trail in the village of Hooks Station. Grant awarded June 2011 |
